Upon contact with an open fire, it activates itself, a warning sound signal sounds, the protective cover of the ball bursts and the released extinguishing powder mixture extinguishes the resulting fire on an area of 8 - 10 m2. In addition, a 120 dB audible warning signal catches the attention of the surroundings. The dispersion of the powder is completely safe for the surroundings and the objects in it. Most fires can be stopped if reaction to fire is fast enough, which means, in the initial stage of fire. Quick reaction is the most important matter in firefighting.
