Description
The station is equipped with a cable and a winch, which allows the drone to rise up to altitude of 49m. (Altitude higher than 49m is possible after negotiation.) The cable powers the drone motors and at the same time, using the internal system, recharges the batteries. The drone with this accessory can fly for unlimited time (more than 50 hours tested). The length of cable must be previously discussed.
The unwinding and rewinding of the cable in the Tethered station is controlled by a computer, which evaluates the fluctuations in the pulling force and keeps the cable always in optimal tension. This achieves maximum controllability of the drone, which increases the safety of use of the drone and improves its work performance. The control computer is also able to compensate for the effect of wind force and distinguish it from the movement of the drone up or down. All functions of the Tethered station are fully automatic, and the entire Tethered station is controlled by a single ON / OFF button. Dust and rain resistant (IP53).
Optical Fiber
Tether cable can be equipped with optical fiber for data transmission according the wish of client. Cable is than ended with optical connectors on both sides.
